Requests for new articles

  • I think there should be an article on governments because there are so many types we should try to give at least general definitions for the main ones out there, articles on each nations government, even on ones no one has thought of yet. --Khallayne
  • I think there should be an article on production rights - not all players exactly understand what it is
    • Including this one. --Goobergunch|? 20:05, 19 September 2005 (GMT)
  • Of the underpants - I think there should be an article on Of the Underpants - s/he is a strange fellow
  • NS News Services - I think it would be nice to have a list of past and present OOC NS news organizations. And because I think it would be nice, it should be done, of course. :D

At Limonka, Eurasia's newspaper, we compiled such a list a while back. I have reprinted it here under "News Services". -Marshal Cassi
Incomplete entry now up, should be completed (grammar, perhaps list NS nations using it, etc.) Aran 00:42, 27 Mar 2005 (GMT)
  • History of the Pacific Revolution - Would be a good idea to chronicle the history of that, pre-Revolution, post-Revolution, formation of the NPO as a party and government, and especially the war that followed and all of the invasions.
  • Factbooks - What is a fact book? How, exactly, do you make one? Why make one?
A Factbook is a series of articles about a subject (usually revolving around a nation) that go together to make a Fact-book. See for instance my nation's article: Starblaydia and how it is part of the greater [[Category:Starblaydia]] factbook. - Starblaydia 18:57, 23 August 2005 (GMT)
  • Regional Probing - is a nation travelling from small region to small region, giving advice on how to expand the region. I think that there should be information about this helpful nation here on the NSwiki.
  • Feline Catfish Wars The wars surrounding this nation really dominated the II boards a few months ago, somebody who was a participant (not me) should try to do something on them.
  • Company Now that its out, should it not have an artcle about it? Swilatia 22:17, 1 February 2006 (GMT)

Requests for expanded articles

I would really appreciate just a basic list of all the government types. -Kerenaa

  • Phobos - It would be a nice addition to the info on Mars. I'd create it myself, but to be rather frank, I have no idea what's going on there, since I wasn't around when Mallberta was doing horrible things inside it. Nightbane 13:31, 4 Jun 2005 (GMT)
    • Moving down to request for expansion.Gruen2alk 21:20, 7 November 2005 (GMT)
  • Shooban - Bumped down to request for expansion
  • 0 Of 0 - I've made a start.Gruenberg2 20:13, 28 August 2005 (GMT)
  • Scripts - I've added the beginnings of an article: those more knowledgeable than I might care to add more.Gruenberg 23:21, 8 August 2005 (GMT)
  • Lotlantheranamore - whoever he was
  • New Pacific Order - I think everyone is waiting for this to appear.
  • GDODAD - Most recent stuff is almost done, any objective viewpoints would be nice.
  • UN Timeline - especially looking for proposal authors to expand on the history of the proposals.
  • Treaty of Deriksburg The original treaty text and a link to the thread would be useful.
  • Halls of Memory - The Catacombs lists famous nations of bygone times. Feel free to add to the list.
  • Griefing - Needs more. Jurisdiction, anyone?
  • Game time - basic article is there, but how does it flow for different groups?
  • Server update - Article is based on pre-Jolt information. Update, please?
  • THE MATT- DUCK - Accordinge to Fris, this ex-delegate of the South Pacific died IRL. With this in mind comtributions would be greatly appreciated.
  • Alliance - Deserves more then a pseudo-stub.
  • Rome - (From RomeW: I've started this article, but I need contributions from other Roman/Roman-based nations. The intent with the article is how Rome factors into your nation)
  • Allied Liberation League - Rather significant alliance.
  • Language - I made a start (and will finish at some point) but help is very welcome. -- |Knoot|KNOOtalk 16:20, 15 Dec 2004 (GMT)
  • Nation Freedom Scales - The seperate scales of Politcal Civil and Economic Freedoms a Nation can have and how they relate to each other. This is brought up really for I know it's in the Forums somewhere, but why not Wiki it! Make important information easily accessible.
  • Atlantian Oceania - Approaching its 1 year Anniversary, Atlantian Oceania is a low-profile but High Activity Region. Members frequently recycle in and out but a similar core presses through each generation. Boasting forum activity rates as high as 90% and more online users at one time than regions 5 or 6 times it's size, there is never a shortage of topics in Atlantian Oceania. ---- The historical archives are publically available to all users at http://aoforum.3wide.com/ ; While selected current topics are also available. Possible Expansions include basic things such as UN Voting History, Sports Competition History and Former Nations with Information as provided in the forums. Detailed projects can obviously be derived from the wealth of information in War Archives, Global, Government & Technology Archives.
AO UN Voting History Added • Starblaydia 24/02/05

  • Socialism - not being the same as Marxism
  • Getting Started in Roleplay - What about some articles on how to get involved in roleplay? I have been doing a lot of reading and wish to start doing more then just answering issues but I have no idea where to begin.
I have created the article and added links but it is grossly incomplete and needs supplementation. Rechze(talk) 13:37, 14 Jan 2005 (GMT)
  • NSEconomy - Well, first we need a page on this; second, word on the street is NSEconomy is ripped off of Jasque/Winnipeg's Meritocratic Census without the consent of either of them. (moved from NSwiki:Village pump [1])
We have a page on Calculators which mentions a number of different approaches, including NSEconomy. I would advise anyone who wants to add anything to that page to first read Talk:Calculators, as the different approaches are obviously a hot-button issue for a number of people. As to the "word on the street" argument, you'll want a whole lot more than that before I'm interested in hearing about vague slander, from an unsigned post, by an unregistered user. → Fris Θtalk 18:27, 18 Dec 2004 (GMT)
NSEconomy does indeed use Jasque's formulae, and I fear that they were indeed used without attribution. -- Wilem Engelking 01:15, 19 Dec 2004 (GMT)
To Fris: Easy now. I was one of the first big contributors here, pal; I just forgot to sign in that time. Sheesh. As for the "vague slander", I think I was rather clear as to what my meaning was. My word on the street is straight from the horse's mouth (continuing my pattern is writing colloquially): Jasque. Best way to find out is by going to the forum of the OSN. If you have time go send a PM to him sometime asking what he thinks about NSEconomy. Canisius 06:36, 21 Dec 2004 (GMT)
As it deserves a page, I've created it. knock yourselves out. - Starblaydia 14:59, 4 Jun 2005 (GMT)
