"Eugenian" refers to the native language of Eugenia. Though it was all but annihilated in most of Outer Eugenia during the colonial period, Eugenian survived in the jungles, mountains and deserts of the land as well as neighboring territories such as Watfordshire, Sacco and Vanzetti and the Free Soviets. The imperialists' hostility was likely sparked by the fact that the language has no words for concepts such as the private ownership and 'boss' that are not synonymous with 'rape/rapist' and 'abomination.'

Eugenian has made a significant comeback in the rest of Eugenia during the decades following the Revolution and is now spoken by a vast majority of Eugenians.
