The GWLS.58 or Guided Weapon Launching System no.58 is a joint venture of the Royal Shipyards of Isselmere-Nieland and Lyme and Martens Industries Aerospace Technologies Division initially manufactured in 2004 to launch the GWS.58 Hurricane supersonic cruise missile from the Port-class cruise missile submarine. The GWLS.58, like the GWLS.35, has undergone several modifications, the latest of which being the dual-length GWLS.58M5 (GWLS no.58, Surface Vessel variant, Mk.5) equipping the latest batch of Europa class heavy command battleships.

Like guided weapons systems numbers, GWLS numbers are designated by the Defence Procurement Agency, followed by the requisite launch environment classification and variant or mark number.

With the exception of the dual-length version, the GWLS.58 series, like the GWLS.35 series, use a cold-gas launch system to minimise deck heat damage and radiated thermal signature. Should the cold-gas launch fail, however, hot launches are possible. This duplication of function makes for a heavier and more volume intensive system, but one which is less likely to fail.

In the GWLS.58M3 and -M5 models, the first level of cells are hot-launched to burn through the barrier between the cell levels.
