The Lord-class helicopter landing dock (LHD) is the primary assault platform for Royal Isselmere-Nieland Marines' expeditionary units. The class has been in service since 2003 and has seen service with a variety of different nations.

Displacement: 41,350t (deep)
Dimensions: length 254.1m (oa); beam 38.7m; draught 8.2 m
Propulsion: 2-shafts CODOG-IFEP with bow thruster; 2 gas turbines (IMW MTG-6) and 2 auxiliary diesels (IMW MED-23); 24+ kts.
Crew: 476 (excluding air group); 1,800 troops
Flight deck: axial (can be modified with port sponson angled to 5-degrees)
Elevators: 2 inboard (fore and aft of island) rated at 36.3t, 1 deck edge (port) rated at 25t
