Rineu (officially The Region of Rineu) is a region in the geographical area of Rineu (not to be confused with the Federation of Rineu which is simply a federation within this geographical area). The regional capital city is the City of Rineu, located in the Federation of Rineu.

World Factbook Entry

The World Factbook entry of Rineu states:

"Rineu prides herself on the attitude of her nations whom remain committed to the ideals of regional peace and democracy and are united in the common goal of increasing both national and regional power and influence."

Regional Power

The Regional Power of the region is, in the eyes of the international community, High. The region is in the top 30 largest regions in the World.

Government

The region has developed a regional government known as the Government of the Region of Rineu. It has a number of departments focusing on their briefs. Each Department has a Minister, a nation that runs and looks after the Department.

Grand Head of State

The Office of the Grand Head of State This is the State Building in the City of Rineu, where the Office of the Grand Head of State is based

The Grand Head of State is fixed as the Federation of Rineu as the founder of the Region of Rineu. Rineu deals with issues of emergency action (Martial Law), assembly management and regional membership.

Rineu holds the title of 'Presiding Officer of the Assembly' so makes sure that the assembly runs smoothly and effiently, also ensuring a free and democratic system. Rineu also organises Regional Awards.

Prime Minister

The Prime Minister is the Head of Government who is elected by the region every 2 months. The Prime Minister represents The Region of Rineu and has power over the regional Cabinet.

The Prime Minister is currently Neudegg who was elected on 11th May 2007 by the Rineu Prime Ministerial Election 11th May 2007.

Departments

There are currently four government departments:

Department of the Interior - this department organises justice and security within Rineu while promoting a unified community and encouraging forum membership.
Department of Education and Culture - this department has the duty of educating all citizen nations of Rineu's customs and laws and also of supplying news on the region and an explanation on any related subject on demand. It is also responsible for the promotion of a cultural identity and patrimony as citizens of a Nation and Members of Rineu.
Department of the Exterior, Defence and the Promotion of Peace - this department has the duty of caring for relations with foreign regions, leading any Regional Armed Force and promoting a peaceful foreign policy.
Department of Finance and Economic Development - this department has the duty of organising any economic issues, promoting economic development and running a regional budget.

The Recruitment Committee organises the recruitment of nations into The Region of Rineu. The Chair of the Committee is selected by the Prime Minister and approved by the Assembly under the Committee Act. The Chair has power to select and remove Committee members without going to the Assembly or Prime Minister first.

The Chairman is Boshka.

The members are: Fahadia, Goliath II, IIont, Laticon, Rain_of_God, Rineu and SocialisticSocialism.

The executive branch of the Government of the Region of Rineu is the Cabinet, which is made up of the leading ministers of each government department.

Legislative - Regional Assembly

The legislative branch of the Government of the Region of Rineu is the Assembly. Every member nation of Rineu is entitled to have one voting representative who holds the title 'Assembly Member'. The Assembly has the power to propose, discuss and vote on bills, which if passed, will be made regional law. The Assembly has the power to elect the Prime Minister and approve of Cabinet ministers.

Political Parties

There are currently three political parties active in the Assembly:

Rineu Parliamentarian Party (RPP) - the RPP stands for the decentralization of power, and the protection of minority rights.
Rineu Liberal Tolerance Party (RLTP) - the RLTP stands for nations right to control their own domestic interests while protecting liberal policies at a regional level.
Rineu Social Democratic People's Party (RSDPP) - the RSDPP believes in zero regional involvement with how nations run their countries but rather in Social Democracy for the all the citizens of this region with a view to seek a just society at a regional level.

Judicial

The judicial branch of the Government of the Region of Rineu is currently being discussed by the Assembly as part of the Justice Bill.

These are the acts that have been passed through the Regional Assembly with a majority of the votes and are currently active as part of the Law of Rineu.

Current Treaties

Regional Travel Visa Agreement

This was an agreement proposed by the Federation of Rineu.

Content:

Citizens of signing member nations may enter other signing member nations without having to obtain a travel visa on the following conditions:
i) The citizen is not staying for more than 90 days
ii) The citizen is travelling for business, pleasure, transit or diplomatic purposes
iii) The citizen holds a valid machine readable passport accepted by the signing member nation they wish to visit issued by a signing member nation of which they are a citizen
iv) The citizen holds a return ticket
v) The citizen must not have a criminal record in any Rineu member nation as considered by the Regional Department of the Interior and Communication

The Office of the UN Delegate Logo

Rineu Scientific Council - this council focuses on technological and scientific developments within the regional member nations and in the region of Rineu. It meets to share information between nations in the region in order to benefit all nations in the region.

The Office of the UN Delegate - this is where the UN Delegate of Rineu can conduct their business. Under the Region of Rineu's Assembly and Government Act the UN Delegate is not part of the regional government. They do not have to use their Office but if they decide to do so they can use it how they wish.

Non Governmental Organisations

These are regional organisations completely seperate from the Government of the Region of Rineu.

Liberty - this organisation attempts to serve as primarily a pressure group pushing for overall and undeniable rights but also providing legal and practical support for refugees and immigrants within Rineu.

Flag Creation Service - this organisation helps new nations with the creation of an original flag that represents their nation in a creative way.

International Relations

International relations are organised by the Department of the Exterior, Defence and the Promotion of Peace and the UN Delegate deals with actions relating to the United Nations on behalf of the region.

Embassies

Embassies have been set up by the Region of Rineu to strenghen relations and interactivity between other regions in the world. Requests are made by other regions to set up a embassy, which are all located in the City of Rineu, and are approved by the Grand Head of State, the Federation of Rineu.
