The Felsingborg-class destroyer is the projected replacement for the Síanach-class currently in service with the Royal Navy of Isselmere-Nieland. The Felsingborg-class is expected to be about the same size as the previous class but with greater multipurpose capabilities and improved electronics. It is unlikely that the Felsingborg-class will enter service before the end of 2007.
Preliminary design
Type: Nuclear-powered guided missile destroyer (DDGN)
Displacement: l/t (standard); l/t (normal); l/t (full)
Dimensions: Length: m (waterline), m (overall); beam: m (waterline), m (overall); draught: m (keel), m (sonar dome)
