Itechton Matranga is the youngest of the two sons of the legendary Aiden Matranga, the latest of the Matranga brood to make it into Starblaydia's Football team. Brother of the equally-legendary Nick Matranga, Itechton was named after the Pedrian city of Itechton where his father Aiden scored his first International goal for Starblaydia, in the 3rd AOCAF.
Itechton, who looks more like his father (partly owing to his short stature) than his brother Nick, is part of the so-called 'Golden Generation' of Starblaydi football, as he was crucial part of the Under-21 World Cup 14-winning side, top-scoring with 5 goals in the 7-match Tournament as Starblaydi took their first Under-21 title.
He also plays for the same team his father did Jhanna City - whereas brother Nick spent all his playing days in a Britannican team - and has been an integral part of the resurgence of JCFC back to their glory days.
By scoring in World Cup 25 against Druida, 'Itchy' made sure that a member of the Matranga Family had scored in every World Cup Finals since World Cup 19. Itechton was a crucial half-time substitution in the World Cup 25 Final against Rejistania, providing the final ingredient for a Starblaydi strike force that was attempting to break through the Karelan defence of the four-time World Champions. In combination with Menecrates, Starblaydia came back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 in Extra Time.
