# Cobdenian Pound

The Cobdenian Pound is the currency of the Governorate of Cobdenia. Unlike most currencies, Cobdenia does not have a two unit decimalised system, preferring instead the more interesting, confusing and downright daft British system of the time in which Cobdenia exists (the early 1930's). In this system, there are three different currency units, the pound (£), the shilling (s. or /-), and the pence (d.). The pound is comprised of twenty shillings or 240 pence, and the shilling 12 pence. The penny is further divided into halfpennies and farthings (quarter pence).
