Stupend

The Stupend (§) was once the currency of Random Kingdom. As of 8 November 2004, the conversion rate was §61.7187 = 1 USD. Since that time, the Stupend has been replaced by the orca and is no longer legal tender.
The Look
The Coins
- The §10 coin is a copper disk, measuring 2cm in diameter and bearing the Random Kingdom flag.
- The §20 coin is a copper disk also measuring 2cm which bears a map of Random Kingdom. It has a silver rim.
- The §50 coin is a silver disk, measuring 1.5cm which bears the "symbol of liberation": two crossed flags with a trumpet and broken chains.
- The §c (cent stupend, or 100 stupends) 1 coin is also a silver disk, measuring 2cm and bearing also the symbol of liberation.
- The §c2 coin is a silver disk with a brass ring, also measuring 2cm, and has the flag superimposed over a map of the Golden Hills.
The Notes
All notes are thin paper tickets with the note value in the corner, the Symbol of Liberation, a hologram, an issue no., portraits of the 3 supreme ministers, and the Random Kingdom flag printed in the colour of the note.
- A §c5 note is coloured blue.
- A §c10 note is coloured red.
- A §c20 note is coloured green.
- A §c50 note is coloured bronze.
- A §m (a mille stupend, or 100 cent stupends) 1 note is coloured silver.
- A §m5 note is coloured gold.
