The Acheron Exchequer (symbol: Λ; ISO code: AEX), divided into 100 Ryls (x), is the official currency of The Queen Regnant Realm of Aliquantus. The currency was created to replace the 'Lux' or 'Light' currency that Queen Artifacta had made the legal tender, the currency was poorly thought out and drove away traders as the irritating mix of words and numbers where too confusing.
The Acheron Exchequer was created by Queen Acheron, who is a keen trader herself, to make a transaction simple, something incapable of doing with the Lux. The Queen introduced the new legal tender on the 13th of June 2007 and the Treasury named it as the Acheron Exchequer. Stocks are often traded in Ryls, so traders may refer to Ryls Acheron, AEXx (sometimes AEr), when listing stock prices.
