The Ethan Smith Dollar (currency code EHS) has been, since November 29th, 1810, the currency of the Ethan Smith. It is divided into 100 Ethan Smith Cents. The Ethan Smith Dollar's currency code is EHS, but it is often abbreviated with the euro sign and the dollar sign €$. €$¢ is used to signify that the value is in Ethan Smith Cents (e.g. €$¢100 is equal to €$1.)

History

The Ethan Smith Dollar was first introduced on Ethan Smith's Independence Day, 1810. It replaced the bulky silver ingot currency that was used for centuries, making it easier for people to carry around money.

Coins

A €$¢50 coin

All Ethan Smith coins have the coin's value at the bottom, "THE GREAT LAND OF ETHAN SMITH" along the top, and the Ethan Smith Coat of Arms in the center on the obverse side.

The reverse side has a symbol of Ethan Smith. Different coins have different symbols.
