The Liquid Credits used to be the currency of East Akershus for a passing period. The chemically tagged solution used as a currency was kept in vials, but it had to be dropped, because vials leaking the money into people's pockets became a problem. Measuring up quantities of money using syringes was also rather inconvenient, as it became difficult for drunk people in bars to pay, as this was precision work.
It also received several protests from tourists and conservative citizens, on the account of "looking kinda like pee"
